vibes

The resurgence of the word “vibes” in tech. I get it but I don’t have to personally really like it. I guess it’s like so many things that eventually come around again. It’s particularly interesting how it has emerged in the tech world.

I did go down a shallow rabbit hole understanding how it was once again adopted around tech, but got bored easily. And for me there is a little bit of a cringe when I see “vibe coding” or a variety of other uses in so many titles of videos, posts, etc.

I’m waiting for the products or services to come out using it in their brand. Probably already have.

I just don’t get good vibes from the whole thing as a child of the 60’s and 70’s.

Maybe listening to the Beach Boys, Good Vibrations, while coding.

What’s next? Groovy?
