My content, my thoughts, my digital home

Here is something I was thinking about this morning at breakfast. What defines a Rock n’ Roll band vs. popular music from any given time. Well, my thoughts led to a lot of gray areas, so I moved on.

But from this, I gave myself the challenge this morning to list of all the bands and artists that I saw in concert, mostly in the 1970’s. Tell you the truth, it was not easy as I had to drift back into my foggy memory. (I do not accept the responsibility of not remembering any band :)

@DotheWoo Yeah, OK… I'm jealous. Lots in there I'd have loved to have seen but was born a tad too late ('67.)

For sure, there’s not much you can do about that. There were some that I would have loved to seen, but either they stopped doing concerts, or we love them. A couple of examples of that are The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix for me.

Right there with you, man. Saw a zillion great concerts in the late ’60s and ’70s. The only bands I really would have liked to have seen that I missed were Wishbone Ash, Mountain, and UFO. And I’m told I did see UFO, but I can’t swear to it!

Yeah, I am actually wondering which ones I forgot! And yes, did see UFO but it took me awhile to confirm that one with myself :) I’m with you there on Mountain and Wishbone Ash for sure.
