time to read, adds to the time to read

You see them a lot. When you go to read a post or an article, it tells you the time it will take to read.

I know this is an approximation, but everyone has their own way of reading things, that are not based around a particular amount of time that it will take.

Seeing this could put pressure on reader. It also leaves you to decide if you want to read that much, or less. Also, judging whether the topic calls for a longer or shorter span of your time. And as I mentioned, will it really. take that much time?

In addition, what about images or graphs. Where do those play in?

So consider this. Reading that “time” and making these decisions, or simply considering it adds the to time it has taken you to read the post or article.
