I think everyone should know how to show empathy. I know this is a big ask, but seriously? Maybe you think it is determined by how you were raised. Or perhaps your culture. Or a number of other things. But it can be learned and to me, it’s common sense.

When you shout out crap on social, think about who may be listening.

When you criticize someone, think again about why you are doing it?

When you are impatient with someone, reflect for a moment and try to remember “been there, done that”.

You see where I’m going.

On a simpler matter, next time you are out, be polite. Everyone should learn to be polite.
