In another post, I showed you how to use a free plugin to remove some of your WooCommerce sorting options. In this post, we’ll look at a free plugin that allows you to add additional sorting options to your store page.
The WooCommerce Extra Product Sorting Options Plugin
This WooCommerce plugin is incredibly easy to use via your WordPress customizer. It has several built-in options:
- Renaming the default product sorting
- Alphabetical and reverse alphabetical sorting
- Sale sorting
- Review count sorting
- Available stock sorting
After installing and activating the plugin, go to your Customizer and then to WooCommerce, under your Product Catalog settings for two additional options:
As you can see, I am able to change the default sorting label:
You can add any of the additional five sorting options with a simple toggle. The review sorting option is cool. I know from experience that many customers look for products that have a larger number of reviews. The On-Sale First option is pretty handy as well.
This is yet another great free plugin for WooCommerce that does a couple of things and does them well. You can get it over on WordPress.org.
