WooCommerce Blocks 2.6.0 Release

The newest release highlights are:

  • Cart and checkout blocks added
  • Introduction of a new status orders (“draft”)
  • All Product Grid type blocks now defaults to 3 rows instead of one
  • HTML editing is no longer supported in several blocks

WooCommerce 4.2 Release Candidate 2

4.2 RC 2 was released on May 27th, and they are on track for the planned release of 4.2 on June 2nd. See the post.


Extensions and Plugins

NEW – AliExpress Dropshipping for WooCommerce

CedCommerce recently announced their new plugin that resides on the WooCommerce marketplace. This plugin offers instant import of products from AliExpress into your store with automated syncing of price and stock.

UPDATED – SearchWP

In this major release there are numerous improvements to help you with your WooCommerce store. It should be noted that by default, WordPress search ignores product details. With their integration both custom fields and taxonomy terms are considered when searching your site.
