I get this question a lot.
Bob, how do I integrate WooCommerce with MailChimp? Hubspot? SalesForce? Slack? The list goes on and on.
Well, in some instances a specific extension will fill your needs. But often, there isn’t one or it just doesn’t quite do what you need it to do. That is where Zapier steps in.
WooCommerce Zapier Integration
The extension WooCommerce Zapier integrates with more than 500 third-party web services. And it’s all done via the automation service Zapier.
Now the Zap you need to create and what app you are connecting to WooCommerce will all depend on the setup. If you sign into your account at Zapier you will get the list of all the apps available.
Now since creating your own Zap can be a bit time-consuming, you will want to explore the ones that they recommend. You may just find something you need all ready to use.
For example, if I were to click on Use this Zap for SalesForce, I would get this window. It would tell me what this Zap does and let me proceed to setting it up.
If I Make this Zap, I now get a webhook that I will add to my site using the WooCommerce extension.
Then you paste it into your settings here.
Then you finish your setup at Zapier.
There is quite a bit more to it than this, and the WooCommerce documentation gives you details on integrating with more than one service using Advanced Zaps.
You can get a free account at Zapier that gives you limited Zaps and steps in your Zaps, and if needed, they do have a couple of other levels if you really need to get Zapping.
I wanted to share this with you so that next time the question about using WooCommerce with a 3rd-party web app comes up for you, at least you now know where to start.
