Note: since this post I have moved our podcast over here, so the site you see in this demo no longer exists, but you can look at the site you are on and experience the Smart Passive Income child theme.
If you read this post from before, when the Smart Passive Income child theme was released from StudioPress, by noon that same day I had it on our Do the Woo podcast site. Just because I felt it was the perfect theme for my redesign.
As a result, I thought it was time to give you an overview of one of the latest themes to come out of WordPress, based on a previous design of Pat Flynn’s website by the same name.
This video is not a step-by-step tutorial for every setting, but instead shows you what I did with our site using some of the same styling as the demo, and a few other changes I made specifically for myself. It will also give you a good idea of how the homepage works, and what you can and cannot do with it easily.
Again, if you would like to read the post about what made me change to this theme so quickly, you can find that here.
Have you seen the new StudioPress Sites? Fast, secure and affordable managed WordPress hosting with access to over 20 Genesis child themes and a collection of the top plugins.
Check out this post on how to easily create HTML for your widgets using the text widget.
And if you have a chance, see it live over on Do the Woo.
