Today is the first day of 2019. Hard to believe, huh? Here at BobWP we have one goal: to be your source for eCommerce and monetization in the WordPress space.
On this, the first day of the new year, this seems like the perfect time to talk about this, even though it has been in the works for the last 3 years. I also shared a little of this on the last episode of the BobWP eCommerce Show for 2018.
But I felt it was important enough to create a separate post for it.
We Want to Be Your Go-to Site for WordPress and eCommerce
Since 2010, we have been writing content on WordPress, from tips for beginners all the way to power users. Three years ago we started writing more about eCommerce and monetization. And over the last year, that has comprised the majority or out content.
This coming year, all of our content will focus those themes.
To give you an idea of what we have done so far:
- 136 episodes of the BobWP eCommerce Show
- 310 posts on eCommerce
- 144 posts on WooCommerce
And there has been a lot around other eCommerce plugins, as well as shipping, taxes, and all aspects of growing your online store.
We have touched on affiliate marketing, advertising and a vast array of strategies for monetizing your WordPress site or blog.
Lastly, the revival of Do the Woo, a WooCommerce podcast with my co-host Brad Williams from WebDev Studios.
And that’s just the start.
What’s To Come?
More stuff on WooCommerce and a hint at a new site that will be the home of all our other content, past and future.
You Can Help Us By Keeping the Word Out There
If you are a regular reader, listener, or subscriber, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If not, we are hoping you will consider it.
Most of all, we hope you keep us in mind when someone asks you, “Where can I got to get some good content on WooCommerce?”
That is where you can really help us.
So let’s make this happen and we look forward to a fun-filled 12 months. Happy New Year!
