podcasting in an old German beer cellar

In March of 2024 I attended CloudFest at the Europa Park in Rust, Germany.

Before the event started there was the hackathon.

I lugged some podcasting gear through a long international flight for specifically recording some shows at the hackathon.

Although the sound wasn’t perfect, or I could say far from it, the room they set aside for us to podcast in was certainly a unique room and made up for anything else. But I will admit I felt that women in the alcove there staring at me the whole time.

A closer look at the interesting artwork adorning the wall gave me more questions than answers.

And of course they must have known we were coming as these beer taps were not working. (to be fair, the park was closed)

All in all, it was great time and gave me some memorable, and yes, enlightening podcasting moments.
